Reiki Healing
From the Japanese word meaning “universal life force,” Reiki is the laying-on of hands, in which the patient receives energy through the hands of a certified Reiki practitioner. Reiki energy addresses the whole person on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level. It heals the causes 
of imbalance or disease, not just the symptoms, and can be used to enhance other methods of treatment such as medication, surgery, chemotherapy, radiation and herbs. Patients are treated fully clothed and in a comfortable and reclined position.
Reiki is very gentle and relaxing, restoring balance and harmony to the whole self. It does not depend on belief and is not faith based healing.
Reiki is usually not an instant cure. In chronic problems which have taken a long time to develop, the healing will also take longer than in acute cases. Reiki is especially effective for those in hospice care, those with cancer, MS, AIDS, fibromyalgia, lupus, depression, diabetes, and other serious problems.
